This piece was designed to copy an actual necklace worn by Lady Mary in the PBS series Downton Abbey. This necklace is 50 or more inches (see note below regarding sizing) of glittering faceted gold natural iron pyrite beads interspersed with mint condition 6mm vintage cream faux Majorca pearls with pristine surfaces and very uniform, round shapes OR genuine AAA freshwater pearls which are a very beautiful white but will be less uniform/more off round than true round as is the nature of smaller freshwater pearls vs. faux pearls. This is a VERY long necklace; it measures 50" total from top to bottom. It can be worn as one long necklace (if you're tall or channeling your inner flapper) but it's also meant to be looped again over the head and doubled, either unevenly as a choker and a long lower strand or you can even out the strands to be more equal or wear them anywhere in between. These 3mm beads are incredibly sparkly and between the materials, the overall color scheme and the length, it has a very luxe '20's vintage flapper feel that make it perfect for a holiday or New Year's party or of course a 20s themed costume ball. I also have another version of this necklace made with 2mm faceted pyrite; it has a more delicate/refined air than this piece, which is more luxe drama, but both are beautiful! NOTE ON SIZING: Etsy is persnickety about letting you offer too many options in one listing but I'm happy to make this necklace in different sizes. I'd suggest a M as 56", L as 62" and an XL as 68".
