These traditional handmade earrings are made with a type of handiwork that dates back to the 17th Century in the Ottoman Empire. The gorgeous craftsmanship is rare and only 8 people are capable of this kind of handiwork today. Because of this, the craft of etching in copper is estimated to last for only another 10-15 years. These are classic and timeless designs. The hooks of the earrings are Stainless Steel, and the jewellery itself is 100% Copper, which make them so lightweight. The backs are coated with Silver Nitrate, and both sides are polished with a high quality varnish so these pieces will not tarnish or discolour, are hypo-allergenic, and will hopefully get you compliments for time to come!
