Bohemian Spirit Multi Color Leather Necklace with Freshwater Pearls

This hand crafted necklace is the perfect extra long tassel necklace to wear with everything. Long necklaces are great for layering so wear your favorite necklace with this. There are 3 strands of genuine leather that are dark brown, sienna brown, and a raw natural beige color. The three strands have been intertwined and barrel wrapped to pearls and beautiful wooden beads. The pendant is the focal point and connecting piece. It is an oxidized metal that has an antiqued appeal. The leather is barrel knotted at one end to create the upper part of the necklace. There are 6 freshwater creamy white pearls that are barrel knotted and secured. The pearls are baroque and somewhat teardrop in shape. I love that these pearls have irregular shapes and sizes and they are perfectly imperfect. (There are over 25 freshwater pearls that adorn this necklace). Where the strands of leather separate the dark brown leather has been knotted to more freshwater pearls and a dark brown bicone wooden bead. There are two antiqued bronze dotted spacers that have been barrel knotted and secured. I decided to keep the remaining part of the neck area as single strands of leather so you can see how beautifully they blend and represent the bohemian earthy colors. The strands have been knotted together at the back of the neck. This necklace is easy on and off over the head. No need to fuss with a clasp. At the bottom of the pendant you will find some vintage glass beads in earthy tones. You will also find agate glass, more freshwater pearls and different shapes and sizes of wooden beads. To get the most accurate idea of where this necklace will fall, measure a string 28.5 inches and hold it at the center of the back of your neck and drop it down one side to see if this is the length you prefer.
