In very NICE condition with minimal wear - a vintage SIGNED (see Photo 9) Whiting & Davis repoussé hinged bangle bracelet with a safety chain and box clasp. This was a find from the estate sale of a local couple who loved fine antiques and jewelry. The bracelet most likely dates to the 1960s/1970s. I have described the bracelet as being "gold tone" but the gold tone is more prominent on the INSIDE of the bracelet. The "gold" finish on the exterior is more SUBTLE and at times looks like a cross between gold and silver. The finish is lovely and the repoussé has what has been described in other listings as a "mesh" texture in places as well as a "fleur-de-lis" design. MEASUREMENTS: The bracelet has a width of 1.25 inches (see Photo 4). The opening (when the bracelet is locked) measures 2-3/8" x 2-1/8."
