INSTALLATION: Installing our interior door decorative backplate is a straightforward process, especially once you've removed the knob! Here's a step-by-step installation guide: *REMOVE THE DOOR KNOB: Unscrew and remove the door knob from the door. *POSITION THE BACKPLATE: Place the backplate over the hole in the door, aligning properly. You can use a pencil to mark where the backplate screws will go. Be sure to check that the door knob or handle will be centered in the circle opening on your new backplate. *REATTACH THE DOOR KNOB: Place the door knob back onto the door by sitting it on top of the backplate, checking the alignment by centering the door knob in the middle of the backplate ring. Screw it in securely. This will hold the backplate in place on the door. Make any final adjustments if needed. *SECURE THE BACKPLATE: Check the alignment and make any adjustments to the backplate placement. Secure the backplate with the small screws provided, starting with one to ensure alignment. Check that it's level and straight before tightening all screws fully.
