Play, Learn, and Grow is all about growing and learning through play. These activities are all hands-on, play based activities that engage children while exposing them to a variety of concepts and skills. These lessons/activities are geared towards 2-4 year olds, but can be adapted for older, or younger, children as well. I use these activities in my home, but they are able to be used in a preschool/daycare setting as well. The activities work great as CENTERS as well! Each week/unit includes 5 activities for each category: books, songs/finger plays, crafts, literacy and math, fine and gross motor skills, sensory bins, and specials. You are able to pick and choose what activities you think your child will like best, or do them all to find out! Material Checklist: This checklist gives you a list of suggested materials to use throughout the week. It is suggested to get all materials prepared the weekend before to make the week of run smoother and more efficient. Activity Pages/Lesson Plan: The activity page consists of everything you need to know to complete each activity for the unit. It includes: category, activity name, materials, directions, and skills. The Lesson Plan pages break activities into days. These are just a suggestion. Printables: Though we focus most on learning through play, some educational activities are enhanced through printables. These printables are no, or low, prep and add to the fun of each unit. Laminate them for future use!
