The Florence-skirt is adapted from a 1930s sewing pattern. The skirt features curved seam lines that accentuate the hips, it fits snugly around the hips and flares out generously toward the knees. The flare at the bottom is close to a full circle! There is a zipper and a hook&bar closure on the side. This skirt is great for any modern vintage look, but it's especially made with dancers in mind, and looks great when you twirl. The skirt is made in a dark burgundy red suiting fabric. The fabric has a soft brushed twill weave surface. The fabric has some stretch and the skirt is meant to fit snugly. This skirt can be machine washed in delicate cycle. MEASUREMENTS PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE PURCHASING These are the actual measurements of the garment. The fabric has a little bit of stretch so please choose the size accordingly. I would recommend choosing a size that is 0-1/2 inch smaller than your natural waist measurement and 0-1 inch smaller than your hip measurement depending how snugly you would like it to fit.
