It uses less than one skein of a size 1 yarn and a G/6 (4.25 mm) hook, but you can also make it using medium or worsted weight yarn. Just keep in mind that your finished scarf will be larger than the example shown here. The only stitches you will need to know are the single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet.
