An elegant gold brocade antique evening bag, with metallic thread dating from the 1920's. The bag has a kiss clasp opening which is hidden by the raised frilly top. The bag is held through the brass finger ring on the brass metal frame. Internally the bag is lined with ivory fabric with one internal pocket, which still has the very cute original square bevelled mirror inside. There is a label inside which reads: Made in France. Also in the bag is an old address card for Miss A Clarke of Aberdeen. Condition: Good useable vintage condition. No holes. The metallic thread's colour has aged please see photos.
