This listing is for this piece ( 29" x 27" ) of 100% cotton hand-dyed fabric in different shades of reds, pinks and white. It looks like cherry Kool-aid or watermelon to me! I dyed this piece of Kona cotton by hand. It is a one-of-a kind. I scrunched, twisted and folded the fabric, covered it with ice and sprinkled on the combination of dye powders. This fabric is perfect for a quilt, a tote bag, apron, masks, applique, etc. The first picture above shows the whole piece of material. The others are close up photos of different sections of the material. The fabric is Robert Kaufman's PFD (Prepared for Dyeing) Kona Cotton. I used Procion MX fiber reactive dyes. I washed this fabric several times with color catchers and tested for bleeding. Just to extra careful, I recommend prewashing with a color catcher just in case there is any more loose dye. I'm not responsible for any dye transfer. I took these pictures beside a window in the morning. There is no color correction. The colors I see on my monitor are accurate, but your screen might show slightly different colors. Would you like a different color palette? I'd be happy to do a custom job. Send me a message!
