Offered is an Omega Chronometre Grade Constellation 168.047 wristwatch in full working, serviced, condition complete with service box (inner and outer) and later papers. This wristwatch has had the full works. I am a watch collector and I do focus on Omega so I almost never restore a watch to this degree. In this case, it needed a lot of love and I decided to go the whole hog. It is now an excellent example of a vintage Connie. Case - 31.5mm wide with integrated bracelet, this is a really easy wearing watch. All original, it has been lightly polished. Very good condition. Dial - the original dial was water damaged and corroding badly from the underside. It has been replaced with an original New, Old, Stock dial. (Don't ask what I had to pay for that!). Excellent condition. Bracelet - stainless steel and original to the watch and reference. This has also been lightly polished. Very good condition. Crown - original to the watch. Excellent condition. Glass - correct Omega glass. Excellent condition. Caseback - original and correct. Very good condition. Movement - calibre 1001 in working, fully serviced, order. Excellent condition. Box and Papers - inner and outer service box with generic Omega booklet and later service card, hangtag etc. In summary, this is a fully refurbished Omega Cinstellation. The watch showed evidence of water ingress, including a badly damaged dial when we received it. We decided to do a very considerate restoration. As far as possible, original parts were retained and, when that wasn't possible, correct original new old stock parts were found. This one was something of a labour of love.
