This is a fable inside a modern fairy tale. It tells the story of Charlie, a young, fashionable urbanite and frustrated writer, trying to make it in a status-obsessed professional world. He is sent to his ailing Grandad's crumbling country house to pack it up. In a final meeting with Grandad, now in a staid care home, his Grandad implores him to bring him "The Phoenix". It's whilst staying at the country house, amongst the beauty of nature and through a chance meeting with a local artist, Bella, he begins to understand what his Grandad really meant. Charlie's journey is a transformative one within the eternal circle of life.

One day, an unexpected visit from her nephew Pedro burdens her even more as the differences between the two characters become apparent. These differences, however, turn out to be life-changing for Sara when the nephew shows her how to perceive the world differently, and brings the answers she needs to connect herself back to the beauty of life.
