One of Positano’s most iconic hotels, the Il San Pietro di Positano, has recently received a facelift by architect Fausta Gaetani of Studio RG Designs. Founded in 1970, the property has long been a hideout for glamorous loungers and deep-pocketed vacationers who have enjoyed its lush gardens, Michelin-starred restaurant and cliff-hanging views. The refurbishment includes six prime suites that are built into the rocks with private terraces overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

Villa Tre Ville: located in the hillside next to Positano, Italy. The property has 4 villas, stacked one on top of the other. You can see the villas on the left side of the picture. The two Amalfi Coast resorts Villa Tre Ville and Li Galli share many things. Both are former luxury villas near Positano that were once owned by famous artists. Li Galli, was owned, of course, by the dancer Rudolf Nureyev, while Villa Tre Ville was home to the movie and opera director Franco Zeffirelli…
