Colombian outfits traditional

Modern Venezuelans don’t have a habit to wear the folk clothing every day. They even use it rather seldom on special occasions, such as weddings, national celebrations, and ceremonies. Though Venezuelan national outfit looks not too extraordinary or weird, locals prefer to use the western-style clothing instead of a folk dress. Nevertheless, the traditional costume of Venezuela is pretty and comfy. And it is the cultural heritage of this country, among many other colorful traditions.

The traditional clothing of Colombia is very diverse, bright, and eccentric. It is also considered to be iconic for the whole Latin America. Besides, locals keep their clothing traditions, and wear folk dresses in day-to-day life. And it shouldn't surprise you – Colombian traditional costumes are made from the natural materials; they are colorful, light, beautiful, and comfy.

As part of its 2011 international tour, the Colombian Navy’s three-masted training ship ARC Gloria, one of the biggest tall ships in the world, is moored in London's Docklands from Tuesday 23 August to Friday 26 August 2011.
