So we decided to share her Thepla recipe which she's been following for about two decades and while I can't roll those theplas like she does. I'd like to thank her for sharing her favourite recipe with us. How do you make them at home? . . Pranomm on Instagram: "Classic gujju dish - Methi Thepla This recipe will make 15-20 Theplas Ingredients 1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour 1/4 cup besan / gram flour 1 tbsp oil 1/2 tsp hing/ asafoetida 1 tsp jeera/ Cumin Salt to taste 2 Chopped green Chillies 1tbsp minced ginger 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp coriander powder 1 tsp kashmiri Lal mirch 1/2 tsp aamchur powder 100gms Chopped methi/ fresh fenugreek 2 tbsp dry kasuri Methi 1/2 cup curd Use room temperature water for kneading if needed. Ghee for cooking the thepla. Method In a bowl seive whole wheat flour & besan. Add all the dry Ingredients and mix well. Then add the fresh Methi & mix it. Add curd & gradually knead a dough, the dough will get sticky then add oil & knead again.
