This bracelet is made of the highest quality commercially pure food safe aluminum and is less reactive to sensitive skin than sterling silver. Most people with metal allergies can wear aluminum with no problems. Aluminum is very lightweight to wear and will not tarnish like sterling silver. It is sized for an average wrist and can be adjusted slightly larger or smaller but should not be bent each time you put it on. Simply slide it on over the narrow part of your wrist and rotate into place. Repeated bending of the cuff will break it. To extend the life of the color in the stamping, do not expose them to perfume, chlorine or sunscreen. Avoid prolonged exposure to water while swimming or bathing. Hand stamped jewelry by nature will have some variations because each letter and design element is hammered into the metal, do not expect laser perfection. This is part of the rustic charm of a handmade item. I make several of the same item, so your item may have some minor variations from the one that is pictured.
