Vintage 1940s wool dinner jacket made by Society Wear. It has a CC41 label . A classic dinner jacket, it has wide taffeta lapels and double breasted closure. Measures 42" chest. Sleeve length 25.5" from shoulder, 17 3/4" from underarm. Measures 19" across shoulders. Length 29" from nape of neck to hem. Please note, these are the actual measurements of the jacket, it is important that you allow room for movement. If in doubt, please compare the measurements to a jacket of your own which is a good fit. It has some minor condition issues- there is a tiny hole at the front (see photos) which is not visible when the jacket is fastened. The taffeta lapels have become shiny. Otherwise in good original condition. The trousers shown in the photo are a good match, of a similar vintage, but do not form part of a suit. The trousers are for sale separately.
