The freshwater pearls are 4 mm in diameter and 5-7mm long. The lock and the star charm are in gold plated brass, and with time the gold plating will wear off. Please do not wear the necklace while sleeping, showering or doing sports. Water and chemicals like perfume and lotions will make the gold plating tarnish.
