I've always lived this way. All of these are fantastic, but #1, 2, 6, 8 and 9 are the most important. Especially #1, 6 and 8. Never go backwards to/for anyone or anything, and absolutely never nelgect to do your due diligence. I don't go into anything without a thorough background check these days, especially with people. It is well worth the cost; NOBODY is perfect, it's worth finding out BEFORE hand who they really are, before you get involved too deep.
