Born in Rio de Janeiro, handbag designer Glorinha Paranagua has lived in Paris, Vienna, Spain, Sweden, Morocco, Kuwait and Caracas. Upon returning to her native Brazil in 1990, she launched her eponymous label with the intention to challenge the classic bag style via unexpected materials such as bamboo, wood and bone. Now, designs are handmade by local artisans with an unwavering attention to detail that sets the bar for an inimitable vacation edit.
