As promised, here is my process on how to paint lips. This is painted in Photoshop CS5 using brushes with pen pressure on. I'm using my default light setup again, which is three-quarter 45 degree frontal and side bounce light. 1. I choose a neutral value skin tone to set it as my base and block in the rough shape of the lips. MY COLORS WILL DE-SATURATE AS IT GOES LIGHTER AND SATURATED AS IT GETS DARKER. 2.
