Our Bambino Bunk Beds are made for crib/toddler/junior size mattresses. As you can see from these photographs this is a super space saving alternative to our usual bunk beds, made with the same style and size proportions as our usual furniture, but made to accommodate your smaller size mattresses - but just because these are a bit smaller we didn't compromise on strength, as you can see here, as with all our beds, they easily hold adult weights! Just let me know your mattress size and thickness and we will do the rest. Made completely out of birch multiply, sanded to a smooth finish and custom colour stained and lacquered in a child friendly satin finish. This Bambino bunk shown was made to fit crib size mattresses: 23 3/4" x 47 1/4" x 4" thick (mattresses and bedding items not included) Bed dimensions: 48" high 50" long x 26" wide We make the bed slats to support the mattresses ourselves, and they are also made out of birch and sanded to a smooth finish. All our finishes are hand crafted so variations may occur. We put together a PDF file for you to print off with easy step by step instructions for assembly. We use only FSC Certified Birch which means that the trees are harvested from forests that meet stringent environmental, social & economic standards. We finish our furniture using environmentally green products that are certified with GreenGuard. And we are proud to make furniture that is safe for you, your children and the world.
