I provide video links to all the skills listed below.) This pattern creates a boxy, oversized jumper with balloon sleeves. The front and back panels are knitted flat and sewn up the sides. The sleeves and collar are knitted in the round by picking up stitches. There are 3 sizes to choose from, but note that all of them are meant to be oversized. I wear a size 2 in my photos. Skills Used - Long tail cast on, twisted rib, knit, purl, casting off, putting stitches on hold, knitting two stitches together, 3 needle bind off, stranded colorwork/fair isle, picking up stitches, knitting in the round, magic loop method Supplies - 4-6 skeins (depending on size you make) of super chunky yarn base color, 1 skein of super chunky yarn accent color US 11/8mm Circular Needles - 40 inches long Spare circular needles (any size) to hold back panel stitches while you complete the front panel Stitch marker Yarn needle Tension - 10 stitches & 14 rows = 4x4 inches in stockinette on US 11 needles This pattern is written and created by @sallydarrgriffin & @sdgknits.
