🌍 The United Nations and humanitarian partners launched the Global Humanitarian Overview for 2025 on 04 December. 🚨 The numbers: ➡️ 305 million people globally need humanitarian assistance. ➡️ Over 123 million forcibly displaced by conflict. ➡️ US$47 billion needed to support nearly 190 million people in 72 countries. In 2024, humanitarian efforts: ✅ Delivered food to 72 million people. ✅ Provided health care to 26 million women and children. ✅ Supported 16 million people with protection services. 🔑 What’s needed: 1️⃣ Full funding for the GHO 2025. 2️⃣ Respect for international humanitarian law to protect civilians and aid workers. 3️⃣ Global solidarity to address the root causes of crises, from conflict to climate. 📢 Learn more on https://lnkd.in/eR4nrz6i #InvestInHumanity
