A rare and unusual malachite necklace from the 1940s. I found this intriguing piece at a recent estate sale and was drawn to the unusual shaped beads constructed from two pieces of malachite and then joined together. Overall the condition is good without any loss to the malachite and only some of the brass has lost its original finish, to a nice darkened patina. The dimensions are: Length 19", width of a bead 1/2".
