An iconic bamboo table from Filipino designer Antonio Budji Layug. His bamboo designs brought him fame in the 70’s and was retailed for years at Bloomingdales in New York. This example is lashed together with rawhide straps and finished with a beveled glass top. The hefty lengths of bamboo bring scale to the piece and the organic material lends an element of timeless beauty. Signed with a bronze plaque on the underside.
