Not certain when this lovely necklace was made. Looks very Edwardian. Beautiful filigree work. Not sure of the metal but others like this from the same time period indicates rhodium plating or it might be chromium plated, as well. Does not react to a magnet and has an unusual blue tint. Small center stone appears to be glass or crystal and is chipped. Everything about this fantastic necklace announces style and elegance of a bygone era. No marks. Old fashioned spring ring clasp. No nib for a thumb pull to open the clasp, only the slightly thicker ring that retracts. Lacy, demure charming, scallop filigree necklace. 1910s-1920s 15 1/4" length Center drop: 2 1/8" 6.9 grams wt Attention: All items are listed to the best of our observation, but they are pre-owned and pre-loved (meaning we may have missed something minor and/or be in need of light cleaning.)
