CALICO - MY FAVORITE FABRIC The dress is made from Calico, raw and unbleached cotton, untreated with chemicals. It weighs 74 GSM and a lightweight fabric is typically between 30-150 GSM. From all of the fabrics that exist, for me, extremely inspiring is this plain-woven textile often made from not fully processed cotton, known also as Calico. It may contain unseparated husk parts and it's woven in the natural color of the raw cotton staple. With it's soft and slightly crinkled texture, it is perfect for even the most sensitive skin.
