When starting a new design, I usually make or find a focal bead, then build out around it to establish a mood, color palette and balance of texture and scale. I work mostly with polymer clay, gemstones, metal, wood, bone, and found materials. Most pieces are one-of-a-kind, some are made-to-order, and I keep inventory of a few.
