I know I'm late to the My Favorite Things Cupcake party, but I finally got the sweet Frosted Cupcake die set, and the Sugar-Coated Sentiments stamp set and made a birthday card for a friend... I made a chocolate frosted cupcake! I die cut and layered the pieces twice each and popped them up on a die cut circle with a stenciled polka dotted background. Simply done, but so much fun!! I made this card for one of my best friends' daughter's sixth birthday this week, using Karen Burniston's Cupcake Pop-up Die set. I used a Paper Smooches stamp, and Neat and Tangled's 'Journaling Alphas' dies for the name. All the papers are from Basic Grey's 'Fresh Cut' 6x6 pad. For the card front, I used the little cupcake dies from the same Cupcake Pop-up Die Set, and a label to write a message in, from the Katherine Label Pop-up Die Set.
