DUE TO SUPPLIER ISSUES, LAMPS WILL COME WITH A BEADED GLOBE AS PICTURED IN THE LAST PHOTO. The Hertz Pottery Oil Lamp is wheel-thrown using white stoneware clay and is perfect for indoor or outdoor lighting. It comes with a BEADED top, and glass globe (as pictured separately in the listing)so it can be used even in a breezy, outdoor environment and is approximately 8 1/2 inches tall. It is available in a variety of other glazes and colors in our Etsy shop. The fiberglass wick allows the oil to burn but does not deteriorate, whereas a cotton wick would smolder and smoke. We recommend filling it just half full of good quality smokeless and odorless lamp oil. The wick should be nearly flush with the top of the wick holder when lighting. The oil lamp should burn for many hours until it runs out of oil. The fiberglass wick will last "forever" and is guaranteed for life, if anything ever happens to it I will replace it free of charge.
