We are excited to share that our member, Bobby Dhiman , currently serving as our president, received the award for Overall Best Researcher and Presenter at the Natural Justice Moot, organized in partnership with Riara University and Center for Moots & Research - Africa (CMR-Africa) Dhiman’s paper which was pitched against papers from the other universities in Kenya addressed the theme of International Climate Agreements and Negotiations, evaluating their effectiveness and outcomes in global cooperation and climate governance, with his paper making particular emphasis on the Global South. His major argument in the paper was that many African nations leverage climate agreements as financial ‘bargaining tools’, which obscures their genuine intentions and obligations. This work was showcased in the final round of the competition. https://lnkd.in/dbij6b99 Congratulations, Bobby! Riara University | Robert Gateru | DR. VICTOR LANDO, MCIArb | Elizabeth Gitari-Mitaru
