The Alabama Department of Transportation held a public involvement meeting today at the Cahaba Grand Conference Center concerning proposed Highway 280 improvements between Hollywood Blvd. and Doug Baker Blvd. The meeting began with an "open-house" format, where more than 100 area residents strolled through a designated conference space lined with oversized maps and drawings of the proposed changes.
