Compassion is an emotion that often goes unnoticed. However, it is a vital part of our human experience and can be used to heal ourselves and others. There are many different forms of compassion, but the most selfless form is self-compassion. Self-compassion is defined as "the willingness to be kind to oneself, even when faced with difficult emotions." It is a way of acknowledging and accepting one's own feelings without judgment.

When we practice compassion, we embody an impossible vow.
