It is recommended to carry out tests to ensure that the surface is well prepared (e.g. that the paint or plaster is not old or cracked). It's also important that the wall is not covered with an anti-adhesion paint i.e. latex paint. Mind that the colors you see on the computer screen are slightly different than on the final print.
