Usually the actual size made out is a bit smaller than the data we marked of the design. Size tolerance can be varied from 1% to 10% based on different sizes or batches. Because the unpainted wood may exists rough edges, deep color scars, color difference from finger jointed plate, tiny holes, glue traces etc. About material: The material is rubber wood. The form of the rubber wood is finger jointed plate. So there may be light and deep wood colors existing in one carved applique. The buyer need to paint it for using in your craft after sanding. Please paint the wood items to cover the traces. Rough edges: Rough edges could be happened in 5% of the wood crafts. The wood product you received may be with rough edges from different batch. Sanding: Sanding paper, sanding brush or small carving knife could all be used for sanding the rough edges. It is suggested sanding many times before/after painting.
