This square shaped cup and saucer was manufactured by Sampson Bridgwood & Son at the Anchor Pottery in Longton, c.1885. The pieces have pink corners and a lovely fan transfer pattern. Both saucers bear the printed mark from 1885, as well as, the pattern no. 1268 and an impressed registration mark which cannot be deciphered.
