Before casting on sts, you create your own main pattern chart, that you would use for front part and sleeves. You may either draw(blank sheets are in the pattern) or find your favorite pattern wherever. There are two versions of pattern, that you can use. To make short dress: 500-600g(yarn) will be enough.
