He is Risen Centerpiece
I have been brainstorming ways to add more of our favorite part of Easter into our Easter decor. In our personal lives, our biggest event on Easter weekend happens on Saturday, when we take part in an Easter pageant our church puts on called SonRise. While a lot of Christian Easter decor focuses on the cross, we personally prefer to celebrate His resurrection and that Christ lives now to make intercession for us! We humbly remember His self-sacrifice for us on Friday. On Saturday we reflect on how even in the grave Christ honored the gift given to us during the week of creation (Genesis 2:2-3) and the only commandment that we were asked to remember (Exodus 20:8-11 & Deuteronomy 5:12-15). Jesus, even in death, rested on the Sabbath. And we celebrate His resurrection and our hope in Him
