Putting climate change and sustainability at the heart of this project, the materials are cultivated, using only wheatgrass seed and water. Over 12-days the shoots sprout and the roots grow to about 20cm, intertwining below into moulds carved from beeswax. The shoots and seeds are cut away and the root dries out to become a lightweight, skeletal form of its previous living structure. #bioart, #sustainableart #science #art #root #grass #seed #living #materials Roots Architecture Concept, Roots Architecture, Roots Aesthetic, Natural Art, Plant Installation, Root Structure, Grass Roots, Bio Art, Natural Structures

StreetArtGlobe ™ 😱 on Instagram: "‘Event of vibration’ by Japanese artist Kenichi Kanazawa 🫠🤯 Kenichi performs a Cymatics experiment using sound vibrations to form geometric patterns. Different vibrational frequencies create different geometric patterns. These shapes are repeatable, not random. Environmental conditions and the size of the medium being vibrated influence the characteristics of the resulting shapes, which are ultimately governed by the general resonance between the sound vibrations and the conditions of all matter involved in the experiment."
