This is a book of mine and when I first read it and got to this part I swear I twitched. This is a widow of a last sentence and it's on the same page at the start of a new chapter! Big no-no, and it's just sloppy. Oh, and the grammar is incorrect for the widow line. The last "he" should be removed.
