The flesh

Meat has value and the better the cut, the more expensive it is. Prime cuts are in high demand as we seek to devour flesh that is tender and marbled with fat. The innate need to savour the flesh of other animals might remind us of our own vulnerability and mortality.

MOIST! The word alone sends chills through the souls of many. When added to the words “flesh wound” one could say it gets outright repugnant. And that’s what this lovely image is.
