This is the main setting of "The Maze Runner". This is where everyone sleeps, get supply drops, where they plan for the maze, and where most the book takes places. The time of the book takes place in the future but it doesn't ever say when exactly. The Maze is the only other significant placerof this book, which is surrounded by the glade.

The homestead is where the gladers live inside the glade. It is later destroyed by grievers when the maze shuts down.

The glade is the center of the maze where all of the civilization is. This includes the homestead, the map room, the grave yard, the kitchen, the fight circle, the slaughter house, and much more.

Part "Lord of the Flies" and part "Cabin in the Woods," this puzzle-box gets less interesting as we learn more about what's going on
