Happy Holidays & Thank you for visiting us! -Lillian Here is a fantastic and rare antique early Victorian/Late Georgian mourning ring from the early 1800's. The face of the ring features a delicate pearl forget me not flower set masterfully set atop a 14K solid yellow Gold Band. The pearls are bright and lovely, especially for being over 100 years old. The center of the pearl holds a darling antique rose-cut diamond. The shoulders are highlighted with deep black enamel detailing in the form of decorative scrolls. The reverse of the ring holds a tiny glazed locket compartment with a circular beveled glass window containing two tones of hair, carefully intertwined. This beautiful and sentimental antique mourning Ring would make an excellent addition to any antique jewelry collection.
