These classic suffrage era shoes are in marvelous shape for their age. With a profile of an ankle high bootie, the lace up, pointed toe styling is identified as a "must have" for authentic women's costuming for historic correctness. I find both shoes to be in comfortable, wearable condition. The soft leather has significant wear on the tongue, but still laces well and feels comfortable to use. It fits my size 7.5 generously, although I do have a naturally slim foot and would call them a "narrow" size. The real stacked leather heel and heavy leather sole also have significant wear, with one shoe probably needing repair within a season of use. If used for rare costume dates (my recommendation for antique leather) these shoes should last through quite a few fantastic dressy events.
