DESCRIPTION: Guy Laroche is a famous designer known for creating fine expensive jewelry as well as more haute couture dresses and beautiful costume jewelry which often made their debut on fashion runways. His classic style appeals to every one. His creations focuses on classic style and perfect geometrical elegance. His CV indicates that he was a humble and likeable man who created the first line of separates for the American market. He designed a lot of costume and fine jewelry. He founded the eponymous company, and died in Paris in 1989. We are presenting one of his easy-to-wear creation. It was designed to be a lasting and classic fine jewelry set. It is thus made out of 18K solid gold, is stamped, signed and not made in gold tone or plated. The set consists of a bicolor solid gold band. The shank is made out of bright yellow gold and, half way through the length of the shank, changes into white gold to form a motif which wraps over the yellow gold part. On the lateral part of the ring one can clearly read the designer's name -- Guy Laroche. The 18K solid gold assay mark (the owl), together with another attributive stamp, is visible on the shank. The earrings are the cuff and wrap type for pierced ears whose decoration replicate that of the ring. This time, it is the bright yellow gold which sits graciously on top the white gold part. They are easy to wear, solidly crafted, and bear the name of the designer on the sidelong edge. The set is in excellent condition. Our images are not photoshopped.
