Use this Thanksgiving writing craftivity to get students reflecting on what they are thankful for with a "cornucopia of thanks!" This is a great activity before fall break or anytime in November. What is included with this Thanksgiving writing craftivity? 5 options for the cornucopia 9 different fruits and vegetables with lines for writing 2 options for writing paper To use this Thanksgiving cornucopia writing craftivity... Choose your option for the cornucopia. I’ve included several different options. Some require cutting and some do not. Print and copy the cornucopia. Print and copy the fruits and vegetables. There are nine included so you may want to use all or a few. You may want to copy on colored paper or students can color. I did a mixture of colored paper and colored some things like the stems and leaves. I cut out around the fruit and gave them to students. I left the majority of the cutting (on the lines.) to students. Students will write what they are thankful for on the lines provided on the fruits and veggies. I tried to include several different options since some things may require more space to write. Students will arrange their fruits and veggies on their cornucopia. I had my students arrange them first, then glue them. Optional: Use the writing paper.
