Antique Watch Chatelaine Necklace, Victorian Silver, Flower Basket and Birds Exquisite Victorian watch chatelaine repurposed as necklace. This piece is silver-plate from the late 1800s. A lovely floral basket adorns the top portion with a pair of birds on the watch holder. The chatelaine is suspended from a new 2mm sterling round braided chain, The watch chatelaine is still functional as an original, just remove small silver wire holding the waist belt insert. Necklace length is 15 1/2 inches. Chain length is 18 inches. The chatelaine measures 6 1/4 by 1 5/8 inches. The watch case will accommodate up to a 1 3/8 inch round pocket watch. No markings on chatelaine.
