This is an exquisite piece! Genuine antique Georgian era diamond ring with rose cut diamonds in 18K gold with some collette (closed) backs typical of the period. Originally from about 1800. What a unique engagement ring featuring beautiful earth mined natural diamonds in a romantic design created entirely by hand. The largest old European cut center diamond measures about 3.5 mm across, the two medium sized shoulder old mine cut diamonds measure 3 mm across and the remaining 14 diamonds measure about 2 mm across for a total diamond carat weight for the ring estimated .75 carat. The diamonds are estimated VSI-SI and G/H in color. The ring weighs 3.2 grams and is in lovely antique condition. Very sparkly!
