Gold filled jewelry behaves the same as solid gold jewelry at a fraction of the cost. The sterling silver ear wires do need to be taken care of following our Care Guide below, but will be much more durable and tarnish-resistant than the silver-plated ear wires. Both the 14k gold filled and sterling silver ear wires are hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin. Shells: The earrings are hand-crafted in small batches and are made with authentic cowrie shells. Please be understanding that natural shells are beautifully unique, which sets them apart from mass-produced materials. This means that shell size and color may vary from one another. All shells are very comparable in size, however they may vary individually by a few millimeters. CARE: Always remember to remove your jewelry before taking part in any water activities (such as swimming or showering). Avoid contact with perfume, hairspray, lotions, etc., and intense sunlight or humidity. SHIPPING: The packing process takes 3-5 business days after you place your order, and the shipping process is roughly 3-7 business days after you receive the shipping notification by email.
